I was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey, and I currently live in Marlton, New Jersey.

I am a management analyst for the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey. I married very early in life to a U.S. Marine. During my marriage, I moved frequently and even had the opportunity to live in Japan for about six months.

 My career with the government began with the Department of Treasury, Internal Revenue Service. Later, I transferred to the Department of Justice, Immigration and Naturalization Service where I was detailed to work in San Diego, California, for a brief period to process Vietnam Refugees into the United States.

I am now divorced, but as a military wife, I had the opportunity to work for the Navy, the Marine Corps, and the Army, culminating with my current assignment as an Air Force civilian.

I love animals, enjoy traveling, hiking, aerobics, lifting weights, and generally any form of physical exercise.

What I value most, at this stage of my life, is family and friends. It is equally important that I feel positive about how I continue to move forward in my life. That is what prompted me to pursue a bachelor’s degree at a later stage of my life.  I do not know that attaining this degree will enhance my professional life, but I am sure that such an achievement at this time of my life can only enhance my self-confidence and provide some additional tools to go forward and be my best self on this journey called life.
